Jeff Kolhede is a producer, engineer, and composer based in Oakland, California. He is the lead record producer at 25th Street Recording, but also works with clients from his home facility, Sanctus Sound. In 2020, he co-founded Gooroo Music, a bay area music house for film and ads that features talented bay area composers, sound designers, and mix engineers. He has participated in 3 Grammy nominated records as a producer and engineer. He also composed the trailer music for the Academy Award/Golden Globe winning film, Moonlight. When Jeff isn’t helping others on their projects, he’s working on his own artist music, tinkering with tape machines, or out in nature alongside his van, Jurgen.
